We offer a large range of services for our clients, with more in the pipeline.
Our services are for a variety of individuals and families and we are working tirelessly to provide support for all that need it. Our clients may be already experiencing homelessness, or they may be facing a period of acute economic hardship for a variety of reasons. Whatever the cause, with our support we want to empower people to create opportunities to move beyond the cycle of homelessness.
Our services include:
- Individual and Group Support Services
- Detox, rehab, and shelter referral services
- I.D. and birth certificate funding to homeless men and women
- Personal and spiritual development services
- Job placement and interview training
- Computer training one on one.
- Clothing
- Referral to Mental Health programs
- Referral for housing and section 8
- Referral to aid our clients in obtaining their GED
- Access to Alcoholic and Narcotics Anonymous groups for those who would like to address their addiction problems
- Veteran’s support groups
Our Men’s Shelter will provide:
- Food
- Referral to a Doctor for checkups (transportation provided by the shelter)
- Men’s Round Table (a support initiative, unique to and developed by BWC)
- The opportunity to attend weekly Power House men’s outreach meetings.
